The Gembloux-Walhain wind farm consists of 6 Enercon E-92 wind turbines with a total height of 122 meters and a unit power of 2.3 MW. Two of them are held by Alternative Green through the Wal'éol project company. Wal'éol proposes, as a priority for residents, to refinance its quasi-equity by substituting it with subordinated citizen debt. Commissioned at the beginning of 2017, these 2 wind turbines produced some 10,500 MWh between April 2017 and March 2018, thus covering the equivalent consumption of about 4,000 Walloon households. This production, which is significantly higher than estimated despite a relatively poor deposit in 2017, demonstrates the full potential of this particularly well exposed site. For this reason, Alternative Green is considering an extension of the fleet with 7 new machines. Le parc éolien de Gembloux-Walhain est constitué de 6 éoliennes Enercon E-92 d'une hauteur totale de 122m et d'une puissance unitaire de 2,3MW. Deux d'entre elles sont détenues par la société Alternative Green à travers la société de projet Wal’éol. Wal’éol propose, en priorité aux riverains, de refinancer ses quasi-fonds propres en les substituant par de la dette subordonnée citoyenne. Mises en service début 2017, ces 2 éoliennes ont produit quelques 10.500 MWh entre avril 2017 et mars 2018, couvrant ainsi la consommation équivalente d'environ 4.000 ménages wallons. Cette production, sensiblement supérieure aux estimations et ce malgré un gisement relativement médiocre en 2017, démontre tout le potentiel de ce site particulièrement bien exposé. Pour cette raison, Alternative Green envisage une extension du parc de 7 nouvelles machines.

ECCO NOVA

We are mainly 2 engineers specialized in energy with more than 15 years of accumulated experience in PV, wind, hydro and cogeneration. Our goal is to foster renewable energy financing via subordinated debt. Launched in May, we raised 150.000€ so far. We are studying several new projects to be released soon. How the investment works: 1. Once in ECCO NOVA's platform, the investor chooses the project in which he wants to invest 2. Chooses the amount to invest in and gets a simulation of the return based on the duration and interest rate offered. 3. Once he confirmed his investment, he gets the debt security copy and the invitation to pay by email (the money is collected on a bank account owned by Ecco Nova and the borrower) 4. Once the target amount is raised, the money is released to the borrower by Ecco Nova and the project starts!
