The Small Wind Co-op is a new energy co-operative set up by the team at Sharenergy. We're building 3 medium-scale wind turbines on 2 farms in Scotland and Wales. We're inviting people from anywhere in the UK to join us for green generation, community benefit and a fair return on money invested.

Sharenergy

Sharenergy helps communities to set up and own renewable energy societies. We think the best way to do this is to use existing resources where possible, and to work to build up local capabilities. We try not to do work which somebody else can do better. All the groups we work with have a range of skills and abilities – we’re here to fill in the gaps, not to run the show. We have helped over 70 community energy Societies and been instrumental in successful community share offers for 35 of these, raising over GBP 15 Million in total.
